Job Description

We are looking for an External Referral Specialist to join our team at Care New England Health System. This role involves coordinating external referrals, managing patient communication, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate external referrals from initial contact to final resolution.
  2. Provide patients with referral forms and ensure they understand the process.
  3. Schedule authorizations and coordinate procedures as needed.
  4. Maintain accurate records of referrals, including status updates and closure.
  5. Collaborate with clinical affiliates to facilitate referrals for surgery and other procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a medical office setting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.

Our estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
