Unqualified French Teacher Opportunity in Barking & Dagenham

We are seeking an unqualified French teacher to join our team at a supportive all-through school in Barking & Dagenham.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and motivated individual to begin their teaching career, with the potential for valuable experience and further training opportunities.

About the Role
  • Fulfill a full-time, term-time only position
  • Teach French to students in Years 7-11
  • Contribute to improving Progress 8 scores and academic attainment
  • Support students during lessons and throughout the school day
  • Confidently manage behaviour and provide support for students with SEN
Essential Requirements
  • Hold a 1:1 or 2:1 degree in French or Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) from a leading UK university
  • Prior experience working in a school setting is essential
  • Show enthusiasm, proactivity, and confidence in working with SEN students
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
