About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Bank Teaching Assistant to join our team at Maple Grove School, a specialist setting for learners with autism. As a Bank Teaching Assistant, you will provide high-quality support to our teachers, helping to deliver the school's curriculum and promote positive learning outcomes for our pupils.

Working under the direction of class and subject teachers, you will support pupils to develop key academic and personal skills, through the development of positive working relationships and ongoing, effective communication with colleagues. You will be responsible for running classroom activities, leading outdoor experiences, and supervising pupils as they explore further afield.

About the School

Maple Grove School is a newly opened specialist setting for learners with autism, providing a rich and varied curriculum that focuses on developing core life skills such as communication and social ability, sensory processing, and emotional regulation. Our school is situated in a beautiful, historic building that has been completely refurbished and redesigned to the highest standard.
