Are you a seasoned finance professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to lead our transformation project, driving financial strategy and ensuring the successful implementation of innovative financial solutions.

This part-time (30 hrs per week) role is available across term time plus an additional 2 weeks across the year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver a new operational model for the finance function and academy
  • Work with several parties across the academy to implement an updated model, ensuring robust internal controls, statutory and regulatory reporting requirements are met
  • Create, design, and implement a data source for budget holders, providing up to date information and analysis on the budget vs variance on spend

Requirements:

  • Qualified finance professional, ideally ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
  • Experience of budget management and ongoing FP&A analysis
  • Ability to manage a project including process mapping
  • It would be advantageous if you have gained experience of working within either the education or academic sector
