Logistics and Supply Chain Management Professional

In this prestigious 12-month placement, you'll gain invaluable skills and experience in all aspects of procurement, sourcing, logistics, and supply chain management at industry-leading GE Aerospace. You'll work closely with our Sourcing and Supply Chain teams to find the best supplies and tools for our manufacturing and business processes.
As a Supply Chain and Logistics Coordinator, you'll be responsible for liaising with suppliers, managing orders, assisting with tender proposals and reviews, customer negotiations, cost and inventory reduction activities, and logistics support. You'll also collaborate with operations management, shift leads, and production schedulers to ensure planned maintenance activities are incorporated into the production schedule.
With structured goals and objectives, you'll have the opportunity to deliver inspiring projects supported by your People Leader and team. You'll receive coaching and mentoring, and connect with other placement students across the UK.
Requirements:- Currently studying or recently achieved a Business/Supply Chain Management/Mechanical Engineering/Project Management/Facility Management/Planning related bachelor's or master's degree
- Keen interest in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- On course or achieved a 2:1 degree
