Mountaineering Coach

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Climbing Coach to join our team at Moray Council's Climbing Centre. As a Climbing Coach, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality climbing instruction and managing the day-to-day operations of the Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

• To provide expert climbing instruction and guidance to participants.
• To develop and implement effective climbing programs and activities.
• To supervise and support junior staff members.
• To participate in marketing and promotional activities to promote the Climbing Centre.

Person Specification:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a local authority or outdoor education centre.
• A recognised teaching or coaching qualification, such as CWA/SPA.
• An excellent understanding of climbing techniques and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary and Benefits:

• A salary of approximately £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.
