At Abbott, we're committed to advancing the future of healthcare. As a Support / Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias or Multi-skilled), you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.

As a member of our Operations Group, you'll be responsible for performing Preventive Maintenance activities, responding to breakdowns, and monitoring equipment performance. Your technical expertise will be essential in fault-finding, maintaining, and continually improving bespoke automated equipment and processes.

Our current vacancies support a 4 on 4 off Days and Nights rotating pattern, or 4 on 4 off Nights. If you're an experienced Engineer with a background in manufacturing, specifically in set-up of precision assemblies, machine tools, fault finding, and problem solving, we'd love to hear from you.

Continuous Improvement is a key part of our site's culture, so you'll have the opportunity to propose and contribute to initiatives and projects that improve our operations. You'll also be required to demonstrate effective communication with your peers and other departments, as well as maintain a high standard of record keeping as required by our stringent quality systems.

Experience with laser cutting & marking, micro fluid deposition, vision systems, or working in a regulated industry (e.g. pharma, medical device) would be an advantage, but in-house training will be given due to the bespoke nature of our equipment.
