Job Title: Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse to join our team at Springfield Hospital. As a key member of our theatre department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting our surgical teams in delivering exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform the scrub role in Consultant-led surgeries, working across a range of specialisms and complexities.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient theatre operations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of theatre policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance your skills and expertise.

Requirements:

  • Current NMC/HCPC registration.
  • Flexible and positive attitude, with a warm, considerate, and empathetic character.
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) - desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in orthopaedics, hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligaments reconstruction - an advantage.
