About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Course Leader to join our team at Colchester Institute. As a Course Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing FE Health and Social Care programmes, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning experiences for our students.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a degree-level qualification and/or a professional qualification in the relevant subject area or equivalent. You will also require experience of leading courses and curriculum development, as well as high-quality teaching experience within Further Education and/or Higher Education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage FE Health and Social Care programmes
  • Develop and implement high-quality teaching and learning materials
  • Assess and evaluate student progress and achievement
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and programme specifications
