About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our catering team at Platters Farm Lodge in Rainham, Gillingham. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals to our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare menus that cater to residents' dietary needs and preferences
  • Ensure high standards of food hygiene and safety
  • Liaise with the Registered Home Manager to plan and cost menus
  • Work collaboratively with the catering team to provide a balanced and nutritious diet
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations

Requirements

  • Experience in food preparation and service
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of allergens and special dietary requirements
  • Knowledge and experience of food hygiene requirements
