  • 3 Shift rotation - 06:00 - 3:00pm, 1:00pm - 10:00pm Mon - Fri, 7:00pm - 6:00am Mon - Thurs (1 in 5 nights)

The role involves:

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out repairs on all types of plant and equipment in a safe and professional manner.
  • Fault finding and diagnostics
  • Dealing with both Mechanical & Electrical issues
  • Carrying out PPM schedule as planned
  • Carrying out installations and movement of machines and equipment
  • Continuous improvement throughout the plant
  • Working to agreed deadlines
  • Root cause analysis & identifying ways to stop the issue reoccurring
  • Liaising with Operators to understand issues

The ideal candidate will have:

Requirements
  • Experience within the food manufacturing industry - ESSENTIAL
  • Candidates must be Multi Skilled
  • Must be able to read and work from technical diagrams - ESSENTIAL
  • City and Guilds level 3 minimum in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent - ESSENTIAL
  • Experience with PLC's - ESSENTIAL
