Expert Tax Manager Opportunity

At LHH Recruitment, we are seeking an exceptional Tax Manager to join our client's team in Stoke-on-Trent. This role presents a unique chance to leverage over 80 years of industry experience and cutting-edge technology to deliver tailored tax advice and solutions to a diverse client base.

As a Tax Manager, you will be a key player in advisory and compliance projects, responsible for reviewing and completing tax returns for a wide range of clients. You will also identify business development opportunities to contribute to the growth of the advisory function.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing personal tax returns and supporting junior staff with technical queries.
  • Completing complex tax returns.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Qualified ATT, ACA/ACCA, or CTA qualification.
  • Proven experience managing a diverse client portfolio in an accounting practice.
  • In-depth knowledge of tax legislation.
  • Strong technical expertise in personal tax and capital allowances for sole traders and partnerships.
  • Sound tax advisory knowledge, including IHT, CGT, Income Tax, and Company Tax issues.
  • Proficiency in addressing complex tax issues.
