About the Role:

We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Network Security Specialist to help us secure our customer-facing web applications and services. As a key member of our technology team, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructure, ensuring the integrity and availability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as VPC, IAM, ELB, ECS, EC2, and RDS.
  • Develop and maintain configuration management scripts using Chef, Ansible, or Puppet.
  • Collaborate with our technology team to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Implement and maintain network security controls, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
  • Work closely with our development team to ensure secure coding practices and identify potential security vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 support for our systems.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, including VPC, IAM, ELB, ECS, EC2, and RDS.
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef, Ansible, or Puppet.
  • Excellent understanding of networking concepts and security protocols.
  • Ability to code in at least one scripting language, such as bash, Python, Ruby, or Go.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker.
  • Hold one or more of the following AWS certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Developer Associate, or AWS SysOps Associate.
