Job Title: CAD Technical Artist

Cityscape Digital is a leading architectural visualisation studio seeking a skilled CAD Technical Artist to join our team. As a CAD Technical Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality visuals, interactive, VR, and film content using the Unreal Engine 5 content creation pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deep understanding of the Unreal Engine 5 content creation pipeline, including Blueprints, modelling, UV'ing, texturing, shading, lighting, FX, and rigging/animation.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware specifications in relation to project requirements and deployment.
  • Experience in helping shape and evolve art pipelines, including proprietary tools, software, plug-ins, and game technology.
  • Effective communication skills and drive to deliver consistently on time, acting as a bridge and balancing the needs between Creative and Technical requirements.
Requirements:
  • Establish quick, efficient, and clear pipelines, particularly with regards to data ingestion into Unreal from 3D CAD packages.
  • Do benchmarking for project features through research and testing.
  • Prototype features and provide transparent accounts of their performance.
  • Work on creating asset banks, such as textures.
  • Execute on direction from Project Lead and/or Art Director of the project requirements related to the technical output.
  • Fix performance bugs and polish project features.
