Job Opportunity: Refrigeration Engineer
About the Role
We are partnering with a leading manufacturing business to find a skilled Refrigeration Engineer to join their team. This is a permanent position based in a manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform planned maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and facilitate line change-overs
- Contribute to the delivery of the Engineering department's vision and strategic plan
- Ensure production efficiency meets site KPI targets
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvements within the engineering environment
- Adhere to and support factory-wide systems for compliance with company policies and statutory regulations for health, safety, and environment
- Collaborate with relevant parties to aid in the planning and support of all capital engineering projects
- Be a proactive team player who can build effective credibility quickly within the peer group
Requirements
- Experience in the FMCG industry is preferred
- NVQ in Servicing/maintaining refrigeration systems is preferred
- ACRIB, FGAS, 2079 Refrigerant handling certifications are preferred
- Experience with TPM, PPM, and Continuous Improvement is desirable
Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary of circa £50K, plus benefits. The working hours are Monday to Friday, day shift.
