Manufacturing Engineer Opportunity

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join a highly regulated manufacturing business in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual who wants to make a difference in bespoke, assembly build projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Evaluate current production activities and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and update Work Instructions for all manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Create, update, and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs) to support production planning.
  • Establish manufacturing methods for new and development vehicles to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Conduct and maintain updates of all manufacturing process risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including material suppliers and process methods.
  • Raise and process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with Health and Safety (H&S) requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodology to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Familiarity with PPAP, APQP, FMEA, and SPC to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Firm understanding of value stream mapping to identify areas for improvement.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001 standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of HSE and COSHH regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ability to navigate 3D and 2D CAD systems to support design and development activities.
