About the Role:

We are seeking compassionate and caring individuals to join our Weekend Community Care Companion team in Bedford. As a Weekend Community Care Companion, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients, providing companionship, support, and happiness during weekend visits.

Responsibilities:

  • Build meaningful relationships with clients, offering emotional support and companionship during weekend visits.
  • Assist with light household chores and meal preparations to enhance the home atmosphere.
  • Engage clients in activities such as reading, watching favourite TV shows, or simply enjoying each other's company.
  • Ensure transparent communication with clients and their loved ones, providing exceptional care and comfort.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience is required; we offer comprehensive in-house training.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Dependable transportation for various duties.
  • Superior organisational and time management skills.
  • A caring and friendly disposition to create lasting relationships.

Benefits:
