Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Williams Manufacturing Limited. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production and packaging machinery.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both mechanical and electrical maintenance, with experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. A minimum of an 17th or 18th Edition electrical qualification is required.
This is a varied role that will require you to work independently, with full autonomy over maintenance activities on site. You will be responsible for reactive and pre-planned maintenance, as well as project work and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently
- Identify and rectify faults on production and packaging machinery
- Conduct regular inspections to prevent equipment failure
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production operations
You will work closely with our production team to ensure that all equipment is running at optimal levels. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of maintenance activities on a small manufacturing site.

Requirements:- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a maintenance role
- Strong background in both mechanical and electrical maintenance
- 17th or 18th Edition electrical qualification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Please note that this is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with no shift work or weekend work required.
