About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Control Systems Specialist to join our team at Allied Bakeries. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our electrical systems meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

As a site technical expert in electrical engineering, you will provide advice and guidance on all matters related to electrical standards and control systems. This includes designing, specifying, and purchasing electrical equipment, compiling detailed electrical specifications, and determining the electrical competence of site personnel.

You will work closely with our Site Engineering Manager and other departments to ensure that all electrical work is carried out safely and efficiently. Your expertise will be essential in helping us maintain our excellent safety record and ensuring that our business consistently meets the correct specifications of all its products.

The ideal candidate will have a time-served apprenticeship in electrical engineering, a minimum of 10 years' experience, and a deep understanding of general electrical legislation, regulations, and practical applications. You will also have the ability to solve problems using logical thought processes and implement solutions to prevent reoccurrence.

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including opportunities for professional development and a positive working environment.
