Role Summary

The Procurement Specialist will play a vital role in the procurement and supply chain team, working closely with the procurement and supply chain teams to ensure smooth operations and providing input to the supply planning team regarding stock levels and demand forecasts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the procurement and supply chain teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Plan deliveries to meet high customer service expectations.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Provide input to the supply planning team regarding stock levels and demand forecasts.
  • Manage customer stock levels and review demand.
  • Liaise with supply sites.
  • Undertake strategic planning of the distribution network.
  • Identify and address any potential supply chain issues.

Requirements

  • Previous logistics experience.
  • Proficiency in using forecasting software and other relevant IT systems.
  • Experience investigating data.
  • Strong analytic skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
