Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Join our team at Shorterm Group as a Maintenance Technician and take on a challenging role that requires a combination of electrical and mechanical skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out fault finding, examination, maintenance, and repairs on our customers' fleets of traction and rolling stock across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend to faults and failures on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Perform inspections and technical rider duties on a variety of rail vehicles
  • Lone working to diagnose and fix issues with electrical and mechanical systems and machinery

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Apprenticeship in a relevant electrical or mechanical discipline
  • Full UK driving license
  • Ability to pass PTS
  • Experience with both electrical and mechanical work, ideally in rolling stock
