We are seeking a highly skilled criminal law specialist to join our team at Tuckers Solicitors in Medway, Kent.

This is an opportunity to work with one of the UK's leading criminal law firms, established in 1980 with over 150 lawyers operating nationwide.

We represent clients across the full range of general and serious criminal offences, including drugs offences, violent crime, and sexual offences, as well as fraud, computer crime, and motoring law.

We are ranked in The Legal 500 and The Times Best Law Firms, with cases regularly featured in national news media.

As a senior solicitor, you will be responsible for providing representation at police stations, representing clients in criminal proceedings, including court appearances, trials, and hearings.

You will liaise with clients, counsel, defendants, and other parties, collate and review documentation and evidence, and conduct advocacy and litigation.

Key skills required include fully qualified as a solicitor, advocacy and litigation skills, a clean and valid practicing certificate, and excellent client care skills.

Preferred skills include fully qualified as a police station representative, knowledge of the Legal Aid system, and specialist expertise in one or more areas of criminal law.
