About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Leicester. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design of innovative building and construction services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality engineering documents and 3D designs using CAD software
  • Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support design projects
  • Collaborate with colleagues on engineering tasks and contribute to the development of new designs
  • Work collaboratively with the engineering team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard

Requirements:

  • Relevant engineering qualification (BEng, MEng, HND, HNC, BSc etc.) in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar
  • Excellent 3D CAD skills and knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining and fabrication
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
