The Employment Team

The employment team provides clients across a range of sectors, including education, healthcare, sports, and manufacturing, with both contentious and non-contentious advice. This includes matters such as TUPE matters, employment tribunal claims, senior executive contracts, dismissals, and employment aspects of corporate transactions.

The Role

  • Advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of employment law and other HR-related matters, including contracts of employment, service agreements, employee handbooks, internal policies and procedures, discipline and grievance, redundancy, restructuring, sickness absence, family-friendly rights, equality and diversity, settlement agreements, trade union and collective issues, and transfer or undertakings.
  • Drafting and advising on contracts of employment and HR policies and procedures.
  • Advising on employment status and types of working arrangements.
  • Assist with the firm's business development strategies.
  • Build client relationships.

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor with experience in employment law.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional client service.
