Maintenance Engineer

Are you a skilled engineer looking for a challenging role in a dynamic production environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in the outskirts of Thetford. As a key member of the production team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the seamless operation of our production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on production machinery to optimize productivity and reduce downtime.
- Utilize your mechanical and electrical knowledge to diagnose and effectively troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct timely repairs and replacements of faulty components to ensure minimal disruption to production schedules.
- Work with the production team to identify areas for improvement and actively contribute to ongoing initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records, including work orders, equipment history, and parts inventory.
Requirements:
- Qualifications in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering preferred and experience within a similar role as a Maintenance Engineer.
- Demonstrated experience as an Engineer, preferably in the food manufacturing, FMCG or a related industry.
- Willingness to work various shifts and respond to on-call requests.
