Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled 2nd Line IT Support Specialist to join our team at The Compleat Food Group. As a 2nd Line IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our users, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with the wider IT team to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd line technical support to users via phone, email, and remote desktop sessions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
  • Collaborate with the Service Desk team to ensure timely and effective incident resolution
  • Work with the Systems Administration team to resolve core infrastructure issues
  • Support the delivery of projects on budget, on time, and to the right quality
  • Communicate updates and pertinent information to the customer group as required

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of IT systems and technologies, including Microsoft Office365, Microsoft Client/Server networking, VPNs, WANs, and end-user software support
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex technical issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with users at all levels
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams, including incident resolution and project work
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced IT environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
