Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and creative SEN Teacher to join our alternative education community. If you are passionate about fostering a love for learning, embracing diversity, and encouraging students to think beyond the traditional, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

  • Support approximately 35 pupils on roll to ensure that we can provide ample opportunities for children who need a nurturing, encouraging and supportive environment.
  • Work with a core team of the Head of School, Deputy Head of School, up to seven teachers, and five support staff.
  • Collaborate with regional and national staff, who work with a number of schools across our group.

About You

  • Core Teaching Qualifications: Teaching Qualification in (QTS/QTLS) or be willing to work towards it. Specialist Teaching Qualification (Desirable)
  • Academic Background: Degree in a Relevant Teaching Subject, equivalent for SEN (desirable)
  • Special Education and SEN Expertise: SENCO Advanced Certificate (Desirable), Patoss AAA Course Completion (Desirable)
  • Teaching Subjects: English, Maths, and Science Proficiency, a minimum of grade 4/C or higher
