About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead our luxury nursing home in Newton Aycliffe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care, driving business growth, and promoting a culture of kindness and compassion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the home's staff team, ensuring a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and maintain exceptional standards of care and support.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the home's services to potential residents, families, and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns.
  • Oversee all administrative tasks, ensuring timely and efficient completion of records and reports.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the home's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Manage and mitigate risks effectively, ensuring the home is a safe and secure environment for residents and staff.
Requirements
  • Previous experience of managing a nursing home.
  • Minimum of a Level 5 NVQ Leadership and Management.
  • Registered Nurse with an active NMC certificate and PIN.
  • Experience working in the healthcare sector.
  • Strong leadership and management qualities, with a dynamic and flexible approach.
  • Good communication skills and ability to maintain excellent working relationships at all levels.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for developing high-level person-centered care.
