As a Food Technology teacher, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lesson plans that promote practical cooking skills and an understanding of food safety and hygiene. You will create a stimulating learning environment that encourages creativity and experimentation in food preparation. Your responsibilities will include contributing to subject development, producing, reviewing, and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work, and ensuring a high quality of teaching and learning takes place. You will also be responsible for managing the behaviour of pupils, using assessment data to inform lesson planning, and setting homework and marking promptly. We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for teaching, experience up to key stage 3/4, and QTS/PGCE equivalent. If you are a motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong classroom management skills, we want to hear from you. Please email your CV to apply for this role.
