Wayman Group is seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary School Teacher to join our team as a KS1 Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a 'Good' 2-form entry school, teaching an academic yet creative, topic-based curriculum to students in Key Stage 1.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver stimulating and engaging lessons that inspire and challenge KS1 students
  • Plan and organise schemes of work in line with the school's curriculum and national standards
  • Assess and evaluate KS1 student progress using a range of formative and summative assessment strategies
  • Provide regular feedback to KS1 students, parents and colleagues on student progress
  • Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers and other professionals
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences

Requirements

  • QTS, PGCE and strong academic record
  • Creative, imaginative, determined, resourceful and adaptable practitioner
  • Passionate about learning
  • Able to demonstrate a track record of success within a KS1 environment
  • Able to communicate your passion to children and parents
  • Ability to demonstrate outstanding practice in the classroom

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this KS1 Teacher position will be paid to scale on a permanent contract following the MPS/UPS pay scale.
