HGV Foreman Technician Job Description

Biffa Waste Services Limited is seeking a skilled HGV Foreman Technician to join our team at Saint Leonards Depot. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of vehicles and waste management equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs and waste management equipment to meet health and safety legislation and DVSA requirements.
  • Conduct scheduled preventative service and maintenance inspections to meet Biffa's operator's licence commitments.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure that all vehicles and equipment are in good working order.
  • Identify and report any defects or issues with vehicles and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Fully skilled having achieved a full level 3 HGV / PSV apprentice qualification/City and Guilds Qualification/NVQ Qualification.
  • Technician level.
  • Must have a minimum of a car/van driving licence.
  • HGV licence desirable.
  • IRTEC Qualification desirable.
