Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Preschool Assistant Teacher. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality care and education to young children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Lead Teachers in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate classroom activities and instruction.
  • Support the daily needs of Head Start students, including health, nutrition, and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement behavior plans and IEPs.
  • Conduct developmental assessments and record results in GOLD.
  • Implement the developmentally appropriate curriculum for preschool children, individualizing instruction as necessary.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or GED; Associate's degree preferred.
  • A valid child development associate (CDA) credential or be enrolled in a program leading to an associate or baccalaureate degree in early childhood education or child development.
  • At least one year of early childhood work experience preferred.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.

Salary and Benefits:

$18.71-$19.71 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, life insurance, paid time off, and training opportunities.
