An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Technician to join our team at ADM in Corby, UK. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing electro-mechanical cover for our mill and packing lines, ensuring they operate at optimum performance.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Work within the Company Safety and Health guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Repair and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Investigate and undertake electrical and mechanical breakdown repairs and fault finding within the plant.
- Ensure food safety compliance requirements are met within the plant.
- Develop and execute small projects within the Plant environment.
- Source and order replacement parts for Plant equipment.
- Issue permits and control on-site contractors.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Complete and improve planned maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to achieve plant performance objectives.
Your Profile
- You must be trained to City and Guilds or equivalent, or be a qualified time-served multi-skilled engineer.
- You must be competent in working with voltages of up to 415.
- You must be computer literate with various Microsoft packages.
- Knowledge of PLCs would be advantageous.
- Fabricating and welding experience would be advantageous.
- You must hold City and Guilds 18th edition (or equivalent).
- You must have a good level of electrical and mechanical skills, as well as competence in process control engineering.
- You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You must be able to work to the highest standards of safety within a team environment or working alone.
