About the Role
XPO is seeking a highly skilled Transport Operations Manager to join our team in Gloucestershire. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing our contract with DAD, ensuring compliance and targets are achieved in line with business and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operation, ensuring compliance and targets are achieved in line with business and customer requirements.
- Continually control costs to ensure the site operationally meets or exceeds budget targets and look to continuously improve wherever necessary.
- Actively motivate, manage and maintain relationships with depot drivers, managers and customers.
- Proactively promote a health & safety culture, leading by example to help drive initiatives that will maintain and improve our culture of safety across the site.
Requirements
- Strong on compliance with international CPC.
- Previous experience of working within a 3PL transport operation managing a large driver workforce.
- Strong management experience managing teams.
- Commercially astute with previous experience managing a P&L in excess of £5m.
