Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team as a Technical Project Manager for Automotive Interior Systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the technical project management and engineering of seats and restraints.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Management: Manage and deliver technical projects from styling feasibility through series production, interacting daily with the concept, styling, and purchasing teams.
  2. Technical Engineering: Undertake technical project management and engineering of seats and restraints, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and functional specifications.
  3. Supplier Management: Manage and cultivate a technical relationship with a global supplier base to deliver new features on time, to a cost, and within quality and functional specifications.
  4. Materials Knowledge: Possess a basic understanding of metal, foam, plastics, and composites, and apply this knowledge to ensure the development and release of projects.
Requirements:
  1. CATIA V5 2D/3D Skills: Proficient in CATIA V5 2D/3D skills.
  2. Automotive Industry Experience: Previous experience in OEM or tier one in technical delivery in the automotive industry would be advantageous.
  3. Engineering Skills: Manage and deliver DFMEA, Engineering statements of work, engineering release, concerns resolution, and DVP, and support the development and release of projects.
