Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced social worker to join our assessment and intervention team as a Senior Social Care Professional. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to support our continuous improvement journey towards best practice.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child welfare and a proven track record of working with families and children to effect positive change. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues to achieve our goals and make a real difference in the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop reports for initial child protection conferences.
- Prepare and initiate urgent care proceedings when necessary.
- Ensure all statutory requirements are met, including visits, care planning, and other related functions.
- Demonstrate strong assessment and report writing skills, and be analytical in determining how best to support the young people on your caseload.
Working Arrangements
This role offers a competitive salary of £42,500 per annum, plus flexible working options and a detailed induction programme. You will also receive outstanding supervision and support from the management team.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in social work or a related field, and be registered with the relevant regulatory body. You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
