Hardware Engineering Innovator for GPU Design
1 month ago
Arm Limited, a global technology leader, is seeking an experienced Director of Hardware Engineering to join our team in Cambridge, UK. As a key member of our GPU Group, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and development of next-generation GPU IP for graphics and compute.
We are looking for a dedicated expert engineer who can own parts of the GPU micro-architecture, contributing to all phases of the design flow: defining and implementing hardware designs, technically supporting other specialists, writing and reviewing design and verification documentation, and planning and tracking design tasks to meet targets on time.
This role requires hands-on experience using System Verilog, Verilog, or VHDL HDL for design, as well as expertise in complex design that achieve area, frequency, and power targets. You should be able to make judgements on functionality, performance, and physical implementation trade-offs, produce specifications and documentation describing complex designs, and own all stages of a project from start to completion.
In return, you will have the opportunity to influence the direction of our Mali and Immortalis GPU product lines, learn about the latest GPU and graphics technologies, utilise your engineering skills to build support for these technologies, and drive your ideas to a wider group of our leading guides.
The estimated salary for this position is around £110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Arm Limited offers a dynamic, inclusive, meritocratic, and open workplace where all employees can grow and succeed.
