We are seeking an experienced Electronic Technician to join our team at Expert Employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of downhole electronic devices, including Allison Transmission, hydraulics, and air systems.
The ideal candidate will have commercial electrical support experience, preferably with offshore drilling equipment, Caterpillar Detroit Diesel / MTU engine, and marine / hydraulic / aviation mechanical equipment.
This role will involve working part-time on the rig offshore and onshore, ensuring the efficient maintenance and repair of electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs of electronic devices and systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure seamless operation of electronic systems.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal system performance.
Requirements:
- Commercial electrical support experience.
- Knowledge of offshore drilling equipment, Caterpillar Detroit Diesel / MTU engine, and marine / hydraulic / aviation mechanical equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
