Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Programme Support Tutor. As a key member of our centre, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery and organization of our educational programmes.
Main Responsibilities
- To deliver our educational programmes effectively to children and young people in various settings, including schools-based workshops, Academic Support sessions, and educational visits.
- To assist with the organization and delivery of our Academic Support, FOCUS, and Mentoring Programmes.
- To work closely with our Centre Leader to liaise with schools and other partner organizations, organize classroom resources, and plan project delivery.
- To maintain and update our centre's displays, publicity, and resources.
- To work with our Centre Leader to recruit children and young people to our programmes, including after-school Academic Support and FOCUS Weeks.
- To develop educational resources and worksheets for use across all our programmes.
- To ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legal requirements, including safeguarding policies and equal opportunities legislation.
- To champion diversity and inclusion in your role at all times.
Contract Details
- Permanent, part-time position
- Local school term-time only
- 15 or 16 hours per week
Salary and Benefits
- Starting salary: £27,400 (pro-rata)
- Pro-rated salary: £10,558 per annum for 16 hours per week
