Job Summary


Primary Responsibilities

  1. Perform 12-block segmentation analysis to categorize and assess inventory, ensuring accurate data-driven decisions.
  2. Generate and review cancellation reports to identify and address inventory discrepancies, maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy.
  3. Maintain the NIMD - Transactional Health Scorecard to monitor and report on inventory health, providing actionable insights for improvement.
  4. Oversee NIMD - Inventory Relocation to optimize inventory distribution and availability, ensuring seamless supply chain operations.
  5. Develop and track key inventory metrics to ensure efficient inventory management and lower inventory levels, aligning with business objectives.
  6. Conduct Work In Progress (WIP) aging reviews to identify and mitigate potential delays and obsolescence, minimizing inventory risks.
  7. Provide monthly analysis of inventory health, highlighting key issues and trends, and recommending data-driven solutions.
  8. Prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly summaries focused on inventory impacts and actions related to raw materials (RM), finished goods (FG), work in progress (WIP), gross inventory, and net inventory, providing stakeholders with valuable insights.
  9. Facilitate 10 to 12 reduction exercises annually to minimize WC inventory levels, ensuring optimal inventory utilization.
  10. Support Demand-Driven Operating Model (DDOM) initiatives to align inventory with business needs and reduce excess, driving business growth.
  11. Review redeployment opportunities with various locations and push them to move items, ensuring optimal utilization of inventory across the organization.
  12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement inventory strategies and improvements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  13. Assist in other activities aimed at drawing down the WC inventory, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  14. Travel as and when required, representing the company in a professional manner.
  15. Ensure all company policies surrounding purchasing, health & safety, quality requirements, and housekeeping are met, upholding the company's standards.
  16. Fully accountable for achieving all relevant KPIs, driving business performance.
  17. Any other duties that may be required from time to time commensurate with the grade of the job, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.

Education & Experience Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields, providing a strong foundation in data analysis.
  2. 5+ years of relevant experience is preferred in lieu of degree, demonstrating a proven track record in inventory management.
  3. Experience in coordinating and managing projects related to inventory management and data cleanup, showcasing project management skills.
  4. Experience in managing inventory relocation and optimizing inventory distribution, ensuring efficient supply chain operations.
  5. Experience in conducting WIP aging reviews and inventory health assessments, providing valuable insights for improvement.
  6. Advanced knowledge of ERP Systems, ensuring seamless integration with business operations.
  7. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and particularly Excel and Power Point, providing a strong foundation in data analysis and presentation.
  8. Familiarity with some data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Incorta, Cognos in an administrative capacity, enhancing data-driven decision-making.
  9. Proficiency in segmentation analysis and generating detailed reports, providing actionable insights for business improvement.
  10. Proficiency in preparing and presenting detailed monthly and quarterly inventory reports, ensuring stakeholders are informed.
