Quantity Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Estimator to join our team at Arcadis Human Resources Limited. As a Quantity Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing and reviewing project documentation to generate comprehensive project cost estimates, reports, and presentations for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the delivery of cost management in small/medium infrastructure developments or significant components of larger cost management assignments
- Deliver cost estimates from plans/drawings and documents from conceptual stage to final design documents and prepare written basis of estimate reports associated with the estimates
- Liaise with, and report updates to external contractors, consultants, and clients
- Review and understand project documents and assess any project risks
- Understand project logistics and project schedule
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs by hand and/or using software-enabled applications
- Track market conditions and costs
- Assist with the development of project scope, supporting value management activities, and communicating estimating scope with key project stakeholders
- Follow appropriate internal control safeguards to ensure consistent reporting of accurate information
- Assist in the coaching and development of other team members in order to share knowledge, increase team skill level, and improve the standard of service delivery
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- Relevant professional qualification or chartered status
- CSCS card holder
- Capable of taking a project through from inception to completion
- Experience of coaching and mentoring more junior colleagues and emerging leadership skills
- Experience of working closely with external stakeholders to build client relationships
- Experience in managing business relationships at middle-management level
