About the Role

We are seeking a talented Applications Engineer to join our client's team, specialising in rentals of vapour combustion units, incinerators, and flares. As a key member of the European Headquarters team, you will be responsible for providing technical support through applications solutions, proposals creation, and technical support. Your primary focus will be on building strong customer relationships, assisting with proposal preparation, and presenting solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Gain a deep understanding of customer technical requirements
  2. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
  3. Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals for customers
  4. Collaborate on proposal design and development
  5. Follow up on proposals and attend clarification meetings
  6. Present solutions to customers and internal stakeholders
  7. Provide internal project support
  8. Visit customer plants, including international travel

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a well-qualified engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical) with excellent communication skills, customer-facing experience, and a willingness to travel internationally. They will be ambitious, looking to build a career within a market-leading organisation in the oil industry.
