At DeepAR, we are seeking an experienced AR Product Designer to join our team. With a strong focus on innovation and technology, we are looking for someone who can create immersive and interactive user experiences.

About the Role

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to define and refine AR product concepts, creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, and designing visually compelling AR interfaces that align with brand guidelines and usability best practices.

We require a highly skilled and technically proficient AR Product Designer with fantastic frontend coding abilities. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in AR product design and frontend coding, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.

Key Responsibilities
  • AR Design and Development:
    • Collaborate with product managers and developers to define and refine AR product concepts.
    • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to illustrate the user experience and interaction flows of AR products.
    • Design visually compelling AR interfaces that align with brand guidelines and usability best practices.
    • Utilize frontend coding abilities to bring AR designs to life and ensure optimal performance across platforms.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AR development tools, frameworks, and platforms.
  • UI/UX Optimization:
    • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on AR designs for optimal user experience.
    • Collaborate with UX designers to ensure seamless integration of AR features within overall product designs.
    • Optimize AR interfaces for performance, responsiveness, and accessibility across a variety of devices and platforms.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align on project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
    • Communicate and present design concepts and prototypes effectively, seeking and incorporating feedback from cross-functional teams.
  • Innovation and Continuous Learning:
    • Stay informed about emerging AR trends, industry best practices, and technological advancements.
    • Continuously explore new tools, techniques, and frameworks to improve AR design and frontend coding capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as interaction design, computer science, or a related discipline.
  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in AR product design and frontend coding, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in AR design, frontend coding, and interactive UI/UX design.
