We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Biology Educator to join our secondary school in Banbury. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to make a real impact, with the possibility of extending the position beyond the initial term for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective Biology lessons across KS3 and KS4, following the national curriculum.
  • Plan, prepare, and mark classwork and assessments, ensuring students are achieving their potential.
  • Manage classroom behavior in line with the school's behavior policy, creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents/carers when necessary.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and participate in department meetings, planning sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Support extracurricular activities and provide additional help for students as needed, such as after-school study sessions.

Essential Requirements:

  • A relevant teaching qualification and experience in delivering Biology at KS3 and KS4.
