About the Role:
We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Street Works Team as a Highway Infrastructure Inspector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the statutory co-ordination and management of street works carried out by the council as highway authority and statutory undertakers on the public highway in accordance with NRSWA and TMA.
Key responsibilities will include undertaking the inspection, recording and reporting of street works, highway infrastructure and surface apparatus defects in accordance with street works legislation and associated regulations and codes of practice.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in street works in accordance with NRSWA and possess recognised New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 accredited training, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of Local Authority and highways network operations.

The ideal candidate should possess strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent customer focus and interpersonal skills are essential, with a commitment to providing a high standard of service to members of the public and other third parties.
