Primary Education Support Worker

Connex Education Partnership is seeking dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants to provide learning support to students across various Primary schools in Warrington.

As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with class teachers to assist students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis, explaining concepts, facilitating engaging activities, and enabling their educational development.

Key duties include managing behaviour challenges, and helping prepare useful classroom resources.

We welcome passionate TAs of all experience levels – from those just starting out building their skills, to expert assistants seeking new challenges.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a patient, caring and encouraging manner.
  • Be able to quickly build rapport with students.
  • Have good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Be confident handling classroom administrative tasks.

Required:

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant, Childcare or Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent

And/or

  • Minimum of 3-6 months experience working with Primary School children, rates of pay subject to experience and qualification.
