Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team at UK Power Networks. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for delivering construction programmes for our high-voltage assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience working with HV distribution systems.

About the Role: This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of technical expertise and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our project managers and supervisors to ensure that all programmes of work are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Your responsibilities will include managing budgets, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and significant experience working in the electrical engineering industry. You should also have a good understanding of HV distribution systems, as well as experience with project management software such as MS Project. Additionally, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
