Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and assess tailored lessons for students with SEN.
  • Develop and implement personalized learning strategies, including Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and other specialists to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment to support students' confidence and self-esteem.
  • Work closely with parents and carers, providing regular updates on student progress.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching students with SEN.
  • Knowledge of various SEN, including autism, dyslexia, ADHD.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A patient, compassionate, and flexible approach to teaching.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
