Role Overview:

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students aged 11-16, across a range of abilities. You will play a key role in helping students develop their mathematical understanding, fostering a love for the subject, and supporting them in achieving their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Assessing and tracking student progress, providing feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
• Supporting students in preparation for GCSE exams.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment.
• Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the school's wider community.

Requirements:

• Fully Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
• Proven experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS3/KS4).
• Strong classroom management skills.
• A passion for teaching and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply for one).
