Habitat Enhancement Volunteer Opportunity

The Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust is seeking volunteer assistants to help maintain and enhance the habitats of Snelsmore Common Country Park. As a Habitat Enhancement Volunteer, you will participate in a variety of outdoor tasks including coppicing, scrub clearance, and path maintenance.

About the Role:

No prior experience is necessary, as full training will be provided. A moderate level of fitness is required.

Schedule:

Commitment: 1 day per week

Frequency: Monthly

Salary Information:

£8 - £12 per hour (dependent on location)

Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain and enhance habitats through practical tasks
  2. Participate in coppicing, scrub clearance, and path maintenance
  3. Support access works and other duties as needed

This role involves physical activity and requires a moderate level of fitness.
